An American bald eagle was spotted flying away from its nest at NASA's Kennedy Space Center in Florida. The sighting occurred during annual bald eagle nesting surveys, which aim to document the number of active and inactive nests in the area. The surveys cover NASA Kennedy, Merritt Island National Wildlife Refuge, and Canaveral National Seashore.
