Bank of Canada told to not use replacement workers
The Canada Industrial Relations Board has ruled that the Bank of Canada contravened the Canada Labour Code by using contractors and union members to replace striking security workers. The Bank of Canada is now required to stop using replacement workers during the strike. The ruling is a result of the ongoing labor dispute between the Bank and its security workers.
