A BC Supreme Court judge has refused to reopen the Cowichan case to hear from private property owners, ruling that a large landowner's attempt to relitigate the Aboriginal land title case is an abuse of process. The decision upholds the original ruling on Aboriginal land title. Private property owners will not be allowed to provide additional input on the case.
