Loblaws is labelling imported products such as coconuts, pineapples, and Dutch gouda as Canadian, despite receiving fines for similar mislabelling in the past. The company believes Canadian shoppers will not notice the change. The Canadian Food Inspection Agency has handed out $47,000 in fines for mislabelling since last April.
