Prime Minister Carney has announced Team Canada Strong, a $6 billion nationwide plan to recruit, train, and hire 80,000 to 100,000 new skilled trades workers over the next five years. The plan aims to address the shortage of skilled trades workers in Canada by providing financial support, modernizing apprenticeship training, and offering incentives to complete certification. This initiative will help build a stronger Canadian economy by developing a skilled workforce to support nation-building projects and local infrastructure development.
