Is your wallet too heavy? Worry no more! Come play Entropia Universe! A sci-fi themed casino which pays back about 90% what you put in (on average).
It's actually a neat game. The general idea is that money in game (PED, Project Entropian Dollars) are worth "real" money. In other words, 10 PED is exchangeable to $1 USD (minus fees).
You dont **have** to deposit. You can collect sweat (eww) from creatures (mobs) and sell that sweat to other players, who use it to manufacture things like mind essence, which they can use with Mindforce chips to do things like teleport or heal or shoot lightning. Basically, sci-fi magic.
You can also do the classic "buy low sell high" (or the more realistic buy high, sell low, and cry from fomo). Some players do very well at this, they make contacts in the game and middle-man items for a profit.
We all know online games have whales (big spenders) and Entropia has the BIGGEST. Literally, the most expensive in game "items".
It's been around for about 25 years, and has gone through multiple engine changes. Game byro, to cry engine, and now they're working on an Unreal Engine update. The game claims to have VR, but I could never get it working.
If a real cash economy sounds more interesting than scamming, this game might be for you.

The most expensive items ever sold in video games. Entropia has the top 4 spots, with the highest being an insane $6,000,000 USD. That's right. 6 million for the ownership to an in-game planet.
It is free to chill on the beach. So, lots of free players like to lounge around chatting, dreaming of making PED.
Hunt mobs for oils and skins. You can sell them to other players and hopefully make a profit. But not all skins are valuable...
That red ship is super expensive, literally thousands. But the one behind it is only a few bucks. Kind of like real life, the red ones cost more.
When you find valuable loot you get a casino like swirl and trumpets. Literally slot machine mechanics, but with items and stuff as well, so it is more interesting I think.
It's on Steam, but most players don't play it there. They use the client from the games website.
